Once a Buc... | Montana Senior Photography

Austin is an amazing HS Senior from Florence. He's got goals and ambitions
and a HUGE love of baseball. No jokes, he pretty much lives at the
baseball diamond year round, and that's saying alot for a Montana kid who
has to endure the cold and snow!

We started out Austins session in the dugout, making sure to capture the
important elements that make up the sport. What's baseball without a
dugout and the glove?!

Moving around the field, we utilized the beautiful colours of the pine
trees that surrounded us, and the consession stand that his parents own. I
was so happy and thankful to be a part of this awesome session, because
you could just "FEEL" the love of the sport running through his veins, and
to be able to capture that.. priceless. As the team says, "Once a Buc,
Always a Buc!"

Avant Garde' - Project 2 | Montana Fashion Photography

This session's basic idea was pulled out of my imagination and put
together by an amazing team of artists. I say team, because because
without the help of others, this magic couldn't happen.

My goal for the new year is to do one concept shoot a month. It's good for
me to help stretch my creative wings, and its a great way to meet and work
with other professionals in my city. I work with the beautiful young lady
who is the model at our local hospital in the ER, and what a spit fire she
is! Using her unique roller-derby look (yes! She did used to play for the
HellGate RollerDerby team!), I consulted with Lisa (Lisa's Mini Mad
Hattery) for a custom head piece to accent Rachel's amazing red hair and
fun tattoos. Then based off the hat, my MUA, Jenn, went to work with
Rachel's fair skin and the hat to give us an amazing smokey chicness. To
top it all off, Anna used her own creative judgment with the hair! A
perfect look!!!

The day of session, it was a balmy 18 degrees. We drove to the local
NorthSide Cemetery to make use of the clear roadways, and beautifully
frozen trees and pillar gates. It was freezing, but it gave us that
literally "cool edge" to pull off the look.

Magic. Sheer. Chic. Magic

Derek Senior Session | Missoula Senior Photographer

This senior session was alot of fun! Derek wanted to make sure his senior
images were special and different, so we went on a small hike along the
river banks of the Bitteroot River at Chief Looking Glass.

His personality totally shown bright in his session. He is an aspiring
musician, being a member of the drumline, pep band, and choir at Florence
- Carlton High. His goal is to go to college for Audio Science. He's an
active member in his youth group at church, and we even did some of his
images there in the UpperRoom, Youth Group hall!

As well as loving music, he took All-State in football and is in AP
Calculus! Wow! Go get 'em tiger!
