VRP - Big Sky & Sentinel High School | Montana Senior Portraiture

I'm playing a little bit of catch up today.... and I'm going to start off with this best friends session!

Sammi and Aspen are the super stars today on the blog, and oh my goodness did we have fun! We started off doing the glam portion of their BFF session first. We used the amazing architecture of Missoula's oldest public school system building to through historic vintage into modern day class and style.

Then we did a complete location switch and went out to the countryside where we made use of the most amazing classic truck and the Ft. Missoula station.

Then to top it all off, we did some team pride shots. There is a lot to be proud of  when it comes to being a part of a team, and I'm thrilled these girls wanted to show it off!

A perfect day, and a beyond fantastically wonderful High School Senior BFF session in Missoula, Montana.

Nicole - Loyola Sacred Heart High School | Montana Senior Portraiture

Here's a fun little behind the scenes of this AMAZINGLY bold, bright, and stylishly stunner HS Senior session that I had the honour of shooting for Nicole of Loyola Sacred Heart HS.

Where did this photo shoot take place?
This shoot took place in downtown Missoula. We had to do some REALLY quick thinking on where we wanted to go because as soon as we finished getting ready for the session, a gi-NORMOUS rain storm hit, so we had to dodge for cover to get out of the drenching rain! So while it rained buckets, we shot here:

Did you collaborate with this senior to come up with the clothing and/or concept for this shoot?
We worked together for this session via Pinterest. We created a "VRP Shoot Idea" board, where Nicole showed me the look she was going for, and then I collaborated with one of the local boutiques in town, One Eleven Boutique, to dress her in the style she wanted!

What do you want this session to convey about this senior and about your senior photography style?
This session was meant to convey "Classy". My photography style is meant to be Classy and Unique. Edgy and Chic. I ALWAYS want Mum and Dad to be happy while giving the Senior the unique edge that teenagers crave. Always timeless... never aging.

Thank you Nicole for allowing VRP to be a part of the most amazing and important time in your life! Each of my seniors mean the world to me, and I love that I get to take the time to be there for them! Not just being that run-of-mill photographer who you set a date, shoot and disappear... I get to know my senior and their family! Giving that extra special touch, where it's needed and wanted the most.
