I Heart Faces- Best of 2010

Another year come and gone and when looking back, I would say it has been successful. I've had alot of growing pains and alot more growing joys. I have loved meeting so many new and wonderful people this year, and the group at I Heart Faces is one of them!

This weeks contest is the best of. Wow... sooo incredibly hard to choose. Not because I feel my work is so spectacular, but because each individual session was special making certain images pull on my heart stings.

But this is the image I chose. Bubba is sweet little boy with Downs Syndrome. His heart is as big as the sea and his interest in life should be an inspiration to us all.

Busy Week!

Busy week... more like busy month!

It's been wonderful though, and its making me very excited for the new year! Here is a StoryBoard (thank you Elena from EW Couture!!!) of the beautiful E-session that I just finished up today! This two are real gems, and SO LOVELY together!




And another one of my cute brother in law and his sweet girl (and my friend!), Alex!



I'll be taking the rest of this week off to finish preparing for Christmas. I'm actually more excited for AFTER Christmas because my sister is coming home for leave from the Navy on the 29th. It is indeed... going to be a great New Year!

I Heart Faces- Pet Faces - Meet Gunner

Friends, meet Gunner. Or Goober, as known to close family and friends! ;) He's our goofy 7 year old Lab who, as you can see by his picture, adores being loved, and only wants to be as close to you as possible.

I love my pets and take as many pictures of them as I do people, so it was a hard choice between Gunner, my horses, or my cats, but for me, this picture depicts the truest character of all them. Enjoy!

I Heart Faces- Scenic B & W

B & W..... My favourite! When looking at a B & W photograph, I see a story and character. Not just colours. Room for the imagination to breathe life into the photograph your looking at.

This young lady captures the mind and spirit. On vacation to our beautiful Bitterroot Valley in Montana from California, she decided that the Bitterroot River was the perfect place to capture beauty of nature and grace she wanted in her session. I had to agree.
