Kyleigh Senior Session | Missoula Senior Photographer

Kyleigh came to me with ideas of her session. She wanted clean and
country. She wanted to stand out from all her classmates, in form of theme
and location. That got me REALLY excited because I live out in the country
of Florence, MT. We planned her session in her almost 3 weeks in advance,
and started praying that the smoke would all clear out! (Montana and Idaho
have been under extreme fire conditions since June!) When her session time
finally arrived though, the fires of Montana were in full force and
socking my 5 acre parcel of land in with heavy smoke. Kyleigh and her mum
were worried but I just kept reassuring them it was okay! I told them,
"lets just look at this smoke as a natural haze. A nice light diffuser.
It's going to be FINE!"

And it was!!! Each one of her images just naturally glowed! I'm so proud
of this young lady! She really let her inner beauty shine, and I'm also
thankful for the smoke. Not very often you'll hear a person say that...
but without it... this session wouldn't have been the same!

Enjoy the beauty and remember that each individual is beautiful! Inside and out!

Blaine Senior Session | Missoula Senior Photographer

I love senior sessions. Each individual is so unique and fun! This young man on my blog today was such a blast to shoot. Blaine is a HS senior at Sentinel High. He has a love of the outdoors, La Crosse, and life in general! I was absolutely enchanted by his beautiful smile and the way it reached his eyes!

Blaine wanted a country setting for his session. Something natural and open. Full of colour and vibrance, the Bitterroot River was a perfect spot. He even got to bring his sweet dog, Savannah.

McCormick Family Session | Missoula Family Photographer

This session is a blessing to my heart. I met this family 2 years ago when they were up in Montana visiting family and friends just before Lucas was deployed with the ARMY.

Now all home and safe and sound, back together, this beautiful family was back in town and I had the best and most wonderful pleasure of getting to do another session for them!

The summer here in Montana has been very warm, but it made it possible to head down to a quiet little campground on the Bitterroot River and we walked out into the middle of it on a little island and had the greatest time just talking and laughing as we did the session, and I chased little Beau around trying to get "just one!" LoL!

Jayden Senior Session | Missoula Senior Photographer

Jayden is a senior in Florence, and already is aiming high! I had a great time talking with him about his goals for his senior year, and where he wants to go on to college too and what's he's planning on doing! He's got a great outgoing personality and it really shined in his images!

Set in the beautiful sunset of Florence, we had a fun time scouting out fun spots on location at the Florence High School.

Cheers! ~Trina

Sadie + Evan | Missoula Engagement Photographer

This session holds a very special place in my heart.

I grew up with Sadie... I actually used to teach her and my baby sister in VBS way back in the day, and I watched her grow up through-out high school, chattering with her at Rod's Harvest Foods as we both plugged along through life in St. Ignatius. Then... she hit college and I did a session for her on the U of M campus and told her "when your boyfriend comes for his next visit, let me know and we'll do a session!"

Well... that for fun session actually turned into a "We're Engaged!!!!" session!!!! What a blessing this is to my heart. To see such a sweet girl get such a champion of a boy for a fiance'! I'm so happy for this incredibly sweet couple! Happy Day Sadie and Evan!!!

BLOG UPDATE EXREME!

haha! It's been too long I know.... I'm horrible about sharing on my poor blog, but HOPEFULLY! these fun collages make up for it!

This past spring since coming back from Vegas I've had alot of really fun and beautiful sessions! Missoula always blesses me with the most spectacular backdrops!

This stunning young lady came all the way from Helena for a Modeling Profile session! We had such a great time wandering downtown, and the best part is her friend came with her getting in on the fun of it all as well!

I've had the privilege to photograph this beautiful gem before, and this time was the session was even better because her sweetheart got to come with her! Briana and Rick have such an amazing chemistry that they seriously couldn't take anything less then a romantic picture! We made use of the cherry blossoms, and the scenery of the RiverFront Park <3's

Sterling and Miss Quincey: Mission Mountain Winter

A beautiful winter day in Mission, MT and I got to spend it with two of the most beautiful babies ever!

I had the pleasure of getting to go back and spend a few days in heart of the Mission Valley, the place of my roots. My childhood friend and his wife are now raising their children where we use to play around, and spend our days cutting and bailing hay.

What an honour to get to photograph these two special children:

Catching up in STYLE!

This has been a crazy past couple of weeks for me, finishing up some sessions, and getting ready for my trip to California for a BEAUTIFUL wedding, and a shoot with my dearest friend, Pamela Topping, but before any of that can happen... first things first!

I must blog this dynamic session! SUNFLARE! My newest love...

Come out of the shadows, lets not be hidden. Let the golden glory hit your hair. Bask in the warmth, delight in the light, let the sunflare shine! -K Weingart.

Enjoy these images and hopefully it will inspire some of you who are still nervous to jump out in it!
